Extending from the Promenade des Anglais, Esplanade de la Douane is ideal for hosting festive, business and official events, combining a beautiful setting and practical advantages. Offering 1,600 square metres of floor space lined with trees on hard stone ground, the area is ideally oriented with respect to the historic heart of the city, with a great view of the port’s Lympia basin and its luxury yachts. Below the esplanade, an underground car park offers direct access to lifts and stairs, sanitary facilities and a 53m² building for secure storage.
A lounge area by the waterside, this 300-square metre wooden structure is available for hosting festive events with or without a boat docked at the quayside. During the day and at night, this covered space can be fully hired out for private functions, and extended in various ways to include an outdoor area. Built with patio doors offering stunning views of the seawall, this is the ideal setting for your festive and business events, cocktail parties, graduation ceremonies, product launches, and so on. One big advantage is that it can accommodate a lounge area, while other assets include a reception desk and video display, PA system, furnishings, air conditioning, heating and sanitary facilities.
Quai Entrecasteaux is a 100% outdoor space covering 2,000 square metres. It offers visitors a chance to soak up the charm of the Port of Nice, with great views of the pointu-style fishing boats and the church. Located near to the “Lou Passagin” port shuttle, this space, with its unusual triangular shape, adapts to suit your event. It constitutes an ideal venue for local celebrations, showrooms or product demonstrations. Small boats can access the area directly, meaning that you can hop right off your boat onto Quai Entrecasteaux to attend your event.
The Port of Nice quays reserved for commercial vessels offer multiple possibilities on the largest unbuilt areas in the city centre. Covering four large areas with floor spaces of 8,700, 8,200, 3,700 and 3,500 square metres respectively, they can be used to accommodate outsize vehicles, and for the hosting of sporting and other major events, for example. The tarmac floor spaces are located at the edge of the quays, and can accommodate all weights. They are delivered with lighting, secure access, water and a power supply.
Initially intended for ship passengers, the passenger terminals offer large indoor and outdoor modular spaces with views of the Port of Nice or the lighthouse. These reception areas offer various layout options for your meetings, training courses, shows, and so on. Terminal 1, which opens to the outside, offers 314 square metres of floor space. Terminal 2 is a 366-square metre modular indoor area. It can be transformed into two rooms, each with 64 square metres of floor space, or used as a single 128-square metre room.
Set in a beautiful bay boasting a preserved coastline, the Villefranche-sur-Mer Marine Terminal constitutes an exceptional setting for private events. Offering 370 square metres of floor space divided into two rooms with 205 and 165 square metres of floor space respectively, it is the ideal venue for events such as conferences, performances on a small stage, cocktail parties, showrooms, and so on. Located at the foot of the Citadel in Villefranche-sur-Mer, the Villefranche-Santé Marine Terminal enjoys nearby public parking and offers the possibility for boats to dock at the quayside. It can also accommodate a lounge area and seating for shows and performances. Other features include a reception desk, PA system, air conditioning, heating and sanitary facilities.
